SOFT CAT is a static site with browser tools and a few external services. Here is where data goes.
Calculators and editors
Token estimates, prompt comparisons and JSON validation run in your browser. These tools do not send the text you enter to a model. Prompt Workbench saves versions in this browser's local storage when you choose Save. Clearing site data removes those saved prompts. You can download and import a library backup.
Opening a Workbench draft in Chat Playground puts the filled system prompt, user message and model choice in this tab's session storage. The playground accepts a transfer for up to 30 minutes and removes it when read. Importing a draft does not send a model request.
Chat Playground
When you send a message, your browser sends your API key to OpenRouter for authentication. Your messages, system prompt and conversation history go to OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to. Their processing and retention policies apply. Provider charges may apply to your account.
The key stays in memory for this page unless you choose “Remember key on this device”. That option saves it in local storage. You can clear a saved key from the playground. Conversations are kept in page memory and disappear on reload.
Page delivery and analytics
GitHub Pages hosts the site and may retain request logs. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser makes requests to Google's servers.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for aggregate usage information. It uses a beacon request and does not set analytics cookies. See Cloudflare's explanation.
Email subscription
The Dispatch form sends the email address you submit to Buttondown to manage the subscription. See Buttondown's privacy policy. Unsubscribe using the link in an email.
